Having been trailblazers with additive-free pork and dry-curing of bacon since the mid-80's, Andy and Jane have developed a customer focused business, employing staff who echo their passion for quality and friendliness.
All our pork is produced in a traditional manner to the highest welfare standards. The pigs are bred outside and reared in large free-range outdoor paddocks, where no growth-promoters, hormones or routine antibiotics are used. When treacherous weather conditions require us to, the pigs are moved to our half indoor and half outdoor hard standing pens, where they have access to fresh open air and sunlight, and have room to run, in order to ensure the best welfare conditions for the pigs.
Combine this with the the optimum mix of breeds and a natural grain based feed, the result is the flavour and tenderness of delicious Dews Meadow Farm free range pork.
